Middle Management is the highest leverage point within an organisation in impacting company culture. Often employees are promoted into positions of Leadership due to being highly skilled technically, but are not given the necessary Leadership training to help make that transition from Technical Expert to Leader.
Someone can be an exceptional Accountant, but leading a team of Accountants requires an understanding of human behaviour and how to get the best out of individuals and teams alike. They are making a transition from crunching numbers to dealing with human nature; unfortunately, people are not as predictable. Without training in this area, it can create a great deal of stress and set someone up to fail. Worse still, it can have a huge financial cost to the business.

This course is geared toward helping employees make the transition from Technical Expert to Leader. Participants will learn the importance and art of delegation, time management, setting goals and setting expectations for themselves and others. Providing feedback, resolving conflict and administering discipline will be covered.

Emerging Leaders will also explore Communication Styles and Emotional Intelligence. Leaders will see how Communication and Emotional Intelligence are powerful tools to getting the results and outcomes they want from others.
