Top 10 Required Business Skills:<\/h2>\n

Having the capability to work cohesively in teams, using effective communication skills, and analytical and problem-solving abilities are highly desirable skills in employees; a report by the Directorate-General for Education and Culture says.[i]<\/sup><\/p>\n

Apart from sector-specific skills, and basic computer knowledge, graduate recruiters believe the following skills to be \u201cvery important\u201d in an employee: teamworking skills<\/a> (67%), communication skills<\/a> (60%), problem-solving<\/a> (58%), and decision-making<\/a> (46%).[i]<\/sup> Alongside these, planning and organisation<\/a>, flexibility, and leadership<\/a> are other important skills employers consider essential.<\/p>\n

Various surveys, including the Job Outlook 2016 survey by The National Association of Colleges and Employers[ii]<\/sup>, and survey by LinkedIn[iii]<\/sup>, found that the top skills that employers look for in prospective employees include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
